I began my love affair with flowers at an early age. Growing up in the backwoods of Rochester, Massachusetts in a Thoreau like setting with out modern amenities gave me a lot of time to let my creativity run wild.  At the age of seven I  convinced my best friend, who lived literally over the river and through the woods, to make wreaths and swags at the holidays and to sell them at the local market.  Selling out on the first day, I knew it would only be a matter of time before my love of flowers would bring me to where I am today.

Before pursuing my passion for creativity and the arts, I  left college where I was studying art history to pursue a job in the investment banking world that was being offered as a once in a life time opportunity. I took the brass ring, and ran with it and worked my way up the corporate ladder of Wall Street to Vice President for one of Europe's largest  and most prestigious investment banks.

I never let my passion for flowers and design fade. I chose to take an early retirement package and at the age of  32,  I left the world of banking to start my own design firm and Chad Michael Peters the company was born. From the beginning the creative, lush, elegant, earthy look of my designs coupled with the fact that everything creative about me is self taught, has made me one of the North East's most sought after designers.  I  have entertained and wowed crowds with stunning flowers in settings that will take your breath away. My clients include local yokels,  corporate titans,  celebrities and even the former President  and First Lady of the United States.

What started out as a small flower shop operating out of the basement of mynhouse, has grown into a floral inspired design studio and boutique specializing in flowers and gifts, weddings and events and interior design. I  pride myself on delivering world class design with a concierge level of service.

There is little doubt that the best is yet to come for Chad Michael Peters. This year I will launch my  on-line store and expand brand exposure through editorial coverage and national advertising. In addition I have been working on several book projects and expects to publish soon.

The profitability of the firm has allowed me to give back to the communities that support my various creative endeavors. Since it's inception the company has had  a deep commitment to charity and each year donates a large portion of profits to various charities including The New Bedford Art Museum, The American Cancer Society and many other civic and community organizations.

Chad lives in Fairhaven, Massachusetts  with his partner Kevin and their beautiful pugs Daisy Doodle and Dunkin Hinds.
